Way Claims 1st Championship Podium

In the final season of the iGPFun Formula 3-era, Modern Racing Print GP's Evan Way claimed his first career driver's championship podium, finishing just behind new champion Brent Ruiz and league veteran Antonio Jimenez Tellez.

Way's consistent pace achieved a new level this season, bringing home an average finish of 7th and tying his career best single-race finish with a 2nd place at Sebring in the closing rounds of the championship. He was followed not far down the order by Ben Goyette, who equaled his career-best points finish in a season where he didn't even expect to be able to run a full schedule, while Matthew Grace finished the season in 30th to round out his first season within the squad.

Way & Gracy also paired to equal the team's best ever finish in the team championship, falling to 5th in the final round of action. Attention now turns to the upcoming season, which will feature the largest set of regulation changes since 2019 as the league transitions over to the new Dallara F324, the brand new car being rolled out this season in Japan's Super Formula Lights championship. Built as an evolution of the same car the league has run the past 5 years, the new F324 is expected to provide better cornering speed and stability thanks to re-worked aero components.
