It was a big week across the Modern Racing Prints GP universe, with some drivers closing out strong championship campaigns while others are starting anew in hopes of putting together a championship season. Here's a look at updates across our team in competition:

Evan Way scored another top 5 finish, scoring a critical point against championship rival Toni Jimenez to enter the final week of the season 2nd place in the championship but under heavy pressure to remain on the podium when dropped results are taken into account. Ben Goyette came home with a 20th place finish to continue his solid campaign in what is shaping up as the final season of competition in the Dallara F312, while Matthew Gracy scored out of the points after running into trouble early in the race. Goyette sits 12th in the championship right now in a season he didn't expect to be able to contest in full, while Gracy is in 31st. The first team also enters Interlagos with a chance to score our highest ever placement in the team championship, currently sitting in 4th place.
Purple Sector Motorsports
Ben Goyette closed out his first season of Super Formula competition in style, taking the win in the final round of the series. In what was a closely contested campaign from start to finish, the championship result ultimately came down to an extremely narrow gap, finishing 3rd in the driver's championship with just a one-point gap to Andres Martinez. To add insult to injury, it was just a matter of inches that scored Goyette further down the standings earlier in the season, depriving him of the points required to take the overall championship.
Barr Visuals Grand National Series
Matt Breuer nearly lost the plot in the 2nd round of GNS action. Starting at the back of the grid, he worked his way up into the top 30 via an offset pit strategy, looking for a late caution to take advantage and catapult him up the order. Atlanta provided 117 green flag laps to close out the race, and it was on the final green flag pit cycle that Breuer hit pit road a bit too hot and picked up a 40 second speeding penalty, relegating him to three laps down and a 40th place finish. Breuer will head into Las Vegas in desperate need of a strong result to improve his provisional chances in the weeks ahead, now just 20th in the championship points.
